When I saw this fragment on YouTube and saw Doug Harlocker's modified PRC-6/6 I was immediately intrigued. What an amazing prop!

So went in search for an PRC-6/6 and was in luck.

But the artwork took some time to figure out...
Although I pretty fast found the images of @candykiller on RPF, I was set on making all the artwork myself and to best I could find what goes where.

So I ended up with stuff like this:

Teksten op PRC propref .jpg

And in the end with this...

Sticker mal BladeRunner PRC-6.jpg

I had a sign company make a 'sticker-mask' of it and now time to try it out...

It turned out I was slightly of with my measurements... a bit to big, but not much. Could work around it.

Oh, I went for this on the tip of the antenna. It's pretty much what it looks like in display-image.
The one that Doug is showing Adam (Savage) looks slightly different. Doug talks in the YouTube episode about an other version that was made in LA. So I assume that's the one in the display.

Hahaha... Oh no no, that's my own personal touch. I found that tassel laying around the house. Thought that that would really fit this prop. So no, it's not something that belongs there.

I am dying to know where you got the radio from! i mean i must have spent like 4 hours looking on ebay, different regions in facebook marketplace, and mercari. The only one i found was shipping from the UK for like 200 dollars for just a beaten metal shell. could you point me in a direction?

Yeah, it seems to be quite a challenge apparently... It guess I got lucky. I just searched online (marktplaats) and found one... I'll try to keep a look out for you.

Found another one! Very nice! Although I'm not sure if they still exist...
i am struggling to fidn a way to buy these. the first link you sent me worked, and i ordered it. but the website uses a form of payment called a "quotation request" and im not sure how i am supposed to pay them

You mean this site in Austria, right? Not sure either... Best to contact the seller. Never heard of a 'quotation request'. Doesn't seem to be a bidding site or something like that.

Fantastic job. Just looks perfect.

Ray, would you be willing to confirm the size of the characters you came up with? The large graphic characters “075-0” appear to be approximately 1 to 1.25 inches tall. Is that correct?

If I print this combined image on a single 8.5 x 11 sheet of printer paper it almost looks like that would be the correct size.

Thanks!

Just checked the file and it's about 30 mm. But this might be slightly too large.

Thanks for the info. I re-sized your image that image to about 28mm and sent it to a local print shop. They quoted me $200 to make a stencil of everything. A little more than I wanted to spend so am going to keep checking around.

Yeah... It set me back for €90,- for two prints (1 extra). That came in handy btw...
