Recent work,bat creature

Hey everyone,I know this isn't any replica stuff but just wanted to share some of the things I've been workin on. The first one is a small insectoid bust that I will be casting and the second is a bat creature I've been working on. The past one is a sketch I did the other day of some aquatic warrior type guy I've had in my head. Any critique is welcomed and hope you guys enjoy !

I've seen kits very similar to your insect and bat sculpts.
There is a whole series of the bug guys.

It looks like your off to a very good start!

Here's a little tip I picked up when I did a little bug-man maquette a while back: there is NOTHING that comes closer to antenna than feather vanes.

Just take a feather and pull all of the barb from it and your have a perfect antenna.

Sculpting or crafting antenna was the hardest part for me, I hope this makes it a bit easier for you later on!

Thanks man! I didn't post a picture but the back of this bust actually has alot of detail compared to the front,and yeah I heard about the feather vanes and they seem perfect but for now those guitar strings will be place holders.

Thanks!! Yeah I noticed that also which is why I didn't want to finish it and prob just scrap It for another sculpt.

Oh heck no, hehe! This is the Replica Prop Forum after all. It just reminded me of his sculpture is all. Yours has more of a Man-bat look, while his has a very rodent-like look.

Haha well thanks and yeah I would probably want to make a kit maybe as I'm molding the insect one first since I haven't made a two part mold before and that ones going to be my test run before I can do the 1:1 venom bust I've been wanting to make for the longest time.
