not content with trying to rip off a companies name and other ironman items sculpted by our members they have started on my I,robot NS-4 head.

:lol They bought a Judge Dredd ABC Warrior replica from another name on my blocked bidder list, wargamesclearout72. If he recasts it, that'd mean that recasters are recasting each other; it'd be funny if it wasn't so sad.

I don't doubt your claim, but how do you know this is yours?

I sculpted it so i should know:unsure

they did indeed have an abc head for sale a couple of days ago, another recast.

it appears wargamesclearout72 are also based in wigan, probably connected.

I didn't even think about sculpting tells when I posted that, sorry. I was thinking more along the lines of "They purchased this from me on ___, and then started selling replicas afterwards."

Of course, as the sculptor, you would know your work best!

I heard abt these guys recasting the IM lids Zorg.

when I saw this offred, , I did think myself.... I wonder who they recasted THAT off. soz didnt realise it was ur work mate, and soz to see it recasted.

recasters majorly suck.

I did however have a little chuckle - did u see wot else he sells on his ebay_shop?? RTV silicone. Yeesh - talk abt subtle

Both added to the blocked list. Shame eBay hasn't set it up so that anyone added also doesn't show up when searching, so you don't accidentally buy from them. I suggested it to them and got the notice that due to legalities they can't accept advice on improvements!? WTF is THAT about?
 
Have ebay changed the rules ? I've never seen an auction page like that before. Loads of links in the right hand side column.
 
Its horrible having your own work that you slaved over for many many hours being pirated, recast by these Props Pimps!!! Especially if its scratch built..

I still have my Zorg NS-4 Fed-Ex head proudly displayed in my theater room. No re-casting here.

This will be Lee Moore and Co again i guess, they've had more eBay names than i've had hot dinners, honestly they seem to trade on different accounts every couple of months.

apparently they bought the molds for a substantial amount and i might not only be the one that sculpted one:rolleyes

gary, what other names have they be trading under?

i noticed a life support pod (in the backround) in one of their listings im sure i've seen it before. possibly alien 3?

I gave up keeping track of his names about 2 years ago mate,honestly they seem to have like 2 or 3 accounts running at a time and just keep opening new ones.

I believe Chris might be a middleman selling for Lee i know he's worked with imperialarmour(Chris) who sells recast TK armour in the past, he used to supply Chris with E11's and sometimes communications are from a Michelle which is Lee's girlfriend or wife.

I whipped this up especially for you. I hope it will be used well.

It's my first attempt at making one of these. Any Idea how to get the file size down without losing so much quality? The original was 5 megs and I got it down to just over 1 but it looks a lot worse. I don't want to derail so please PM me any tips. Thanks!
 
Is this the same Michelle that TMP called out for recasting his IM stuff? I may not be remembering things correctly.

Yeah it is.

I can't obviously be 100% that this Chris is the same Chris that's imperialarmour on ebay selling recast stormtrooper kits..
But what i am sure of is that Lee Moore and Michelle have had past dealings with imperialarmour, i know for sure that Moore used to make the E11's that imperialarmour used to sell along with his recast stormtrooper armour.


Coincidence ? maybe,maybe not.


Incidently Lee Moore actually at one point used to use his real name as his eBay ID and when you clicked the images in his sales sure enough it linked to Michelles photobucket account the very same one that they finally set private when that TMP thread came up.
Thats how i used to suss out his sales for ages, if i thought it was him i'd just click the images on the sales page and see if that album came up.
