This guy is a real gem!........we had a few words over on A.S.A.P. And he has haunted me sence! he was copying a dvd he bought from a member and selling them on ebay......we called him out and he got pissed! changed his ebay name and purchased a kit from me for the sole purpose of giving me negative feedback.....now he is recasting my stuff and selling it on ebay! Nice guy! any way be warned as he is a recaster!
He is re casting my tos intercoms to go with his wall units!

You are mistaken, not only would I NOT recast your **** stuff. Not that I give a **** what you think anyway.
If anything YOU recast the RODDENBERRY intercom (I happen to have both).
I was told by friends about this post is the ONLY reason I popped on here. It seems that if you spent half the time actually working on things instead of on the internet you could maybe make decent stuff. (for anyone doubting that he produces and sells ****, i happen to have extensive pics of the shoddy stuff he sent me. [...]

There are two kinds of recasters.... those who once pointed out, apologize and stop producing... and those who flip out and pull a Mel Gibson and harshly rant, saying everyone else has the problem, not them. Guess where this one falls??:lol

I'd still like to see proof. As some know I have spoken of the ills of recasting for awhile. In looking at "augie417" current sales and feedback I see one Rodenberry kit and one other intercom kit. Is there proof of augie417 selling multiples of this kit? Is he selling them at another site? I would ask that such information/photos be presented.

And can this please be a discussion? Must we lower ourselves to namecalling?

If there is proof on either side it will speak in volumes greater than namecalling.

No problem! Like I said before, I don't usually post on forums so it will take me a little bit to figure out how to upload pictures. (yes, I'm a newbie to posting) Any tips on how to upload them would be appreciated.
As far as "proving myself" as not a recaster, I couldn't give a **** less. If you think I do, you're wrong, but don't buy from me. I won't waste my time because there's no way I can prove it. Bruce is just upset that I make and sell stuff on ebay also. I DO admit I made a mistake of selling a dvd without researching it more, but i made EXACTLY nothing on it!!! (the cost being exactly what I sold them for = no profit)
Bruce is candy nice some of the time, but he not only talks behind everyone's back, but also lies constantly. I'm not the only person to say so.
The list of things I've gotten from Bruce is:

Ray Generator - Had massive voids (one 1/2" on a corner!) and air bubbles
Eminar disruptor - white resin "scaled" and came off in pieces in places, also took a
BUNCH of filler to make presentable, also hole through the fins on the bottom (which
are VERY hard to fix!)
Intercom - hole all the way through the resin right above the indicator light
Astrogator - cast in white resin (original was clear), has holes around the edge of round
part.

Long story short, all his "followers" -I'm not going to attempt to change your mind. Given enough time and dealings with him you will find out. He was trying to sell me the indicator light for the wall intercom units for $100+! ONES HE RECAST!!! I still have the emails.
That's what pushed me to start making my own stuff because I knew I could not only make them for 1/4 of the price, but also didn't have to settle for his mistake pieces.

Oh, I also forgot to add that I have a "kelvin control devise" (spelling isn't Bruce's talent's either) and the whole corner is MISSING!!! YES....not just a void, but MISSING. I still haven't figured how to fix this.
Bruce knows I'm telling the truth whether he admits it or not. I DID NOT recast his communicator for the wall comm, but I DID put one of the MANY ones I had gotten from him (I had to do alot of work to it) with one of the wall comms I put together. Since I bought it from him (regrettably) and PAID for it, I can freaking resell it!! I DID NOT recast it! It's the same piece I bought from him!

Thanks to those who are sticking up for me.....I was only looking out for those here whom may deal with this guy.....I delt with him on ebay and that is it!! never met him nor do I know him.......this is the way he talks to me when ever I question him!??.........he even denied being the same guy when I contacted him! Here is a pic of my intercom I made from scratch years ago for my Captains chair and a pic of his.....mine are all cast in white resin.........also please not so you know I am telling the truth if you look at the auctions he bought from me he bought all of my seconds and faulty castings as stated in the auctions......I always am upfront with my customers! he was fine until We called him out on the CD Selling then he went bonkers!:unsure Look at my ebay feedback as well! 1 negitive.....from this yahoo! any way I am not going to continue to post and keep the back and forth going.....just an F.Y.I. You all believe what you want I just do not want anyone to have these issues!
I have posted many times on this and many forums my scratch builds.....
some of you know what I can do....nothing I do is perfect but I will be the first one to tell you......I do mess up from time to time as I am human but I will always try to make things right as best I can.........I know you cant see it right now as my other ebay account is locked until I get it paid off but it is dkl65 and I have all good feed back from this person for everything he has bought!! up until now!! the one purchase after our little CD Issue........any way thanks guys!

It is Blue!:lol I do mine in white.........anything you have of mine IS Junk and was sold as such.........That is why you gave me positive feed back! :thumbsup man just chill out....you said your self you didn't care what people think! :thumbsup

By the way, auggie417 is one of my family's accounts. I live in AZ, they live in MO and they ARE selling some stuff for me. The feedback you received was VERY accurate. If you make bad stuff (even if it's consistantly for one person) you get a bad reputation.
By the way....I guess you made the hypospray that's being sold on auggie417 right now? No, I made it 100% from scratch. The communicator pics you're so proud of? Has anyone held yours against the roddenberry.com one side by side?? I did.....looks awefully close Bruce! Then again, I don't know for sure SO I DON'T ACCUSE. Get your facts straight before you start ***!!!!!

Listen. I DIDN'T recast anything. I'm letting this go. Everyone can make up their own mind. Maybe Bruce just did ME wrong. Is he right about the DVD thing? Yes. I'll fully admit that. It was a newbie mistake that I didn't check it out first, but I made nothing from it, and contributed ALOT to it (alot of my own original material).
I AM new, but that doesn't mean I'm going to let someone talk about me and say things aren't true. This whole thing is that I recast his comm. Not true, it WAS his, not a recast, but a RESELL. If he'd asked I'd had told him so. Did he? No, trying to ruin his ebay competitor was easier.
If the only thing this has gotten is to make him improve his work he sells then great, but he sold me junk, and because I didn't know where else to buy from I kept it and tried to stay on his good side. When I made the dvd mistake he stabbed me in the back. I stopped IMMEDIATELY selling the dvd by the way, and closed my account.
Because there's a "WITCHHUNT" mentality here when someone is ACCUSED, I won't be coming back to this board. I never got a chance and people automatically believed everything he said even though he didn't even know what he was talking about.
Granted, he's been here awhile, but if you're new....if you're trying to sell things on ebay that's TOS trek related....? Better hope you don't upset anyone or make any mistakes.

as stated those pictures of the props you have were sold as seconds and defects with much TLC needed sold through my dkl65 account.....you read the auctions and knew this before you purchased and you left positive feed back for them :lol not sure what you are doing buddy or witch direction you are headed???? when I did contact you about recasting you told me to *** off! and that you were not David P[...]! LOL like I said this is getting no where....anyone who has dealt with me knows what I am about.....no reason to do this other than I work hard on my stuff not to have it recast..............as far as you selling on ebay??? join the other millions of folks :lol good luck in all of your sales as that means nothing to me.

You know me and you know I know who you are and the beautiful pieces you make...I have several!
Also, I KNOW that you are NOT a recaster and you scratch build your stuff.
I have seen version 1's and 2's of several props....as well as your work in progress...

I am wondering though if this is somehow a mis communication or something...
Granted, he is ignoring the fact that these were sold as seconds...and I know something about that too...
They happen...you sell them at a lower price to someone who is willing to do a little extra work on them.

Every casting that I have gotten from Bruce has been very clean.

I'm wondering if David is telling the truth though about not re casting...if this is in fact the only one he's selling it might just be a repainted one of yours...especially if he did a lot of cleanup on it.

I say if this is the only piece than it's probably not a recast.
If you see multiples, then there's a problem.
