hey guys, well got a message from ebay today and this is what it says
Hello Ryan,
Thanks for letting us know there are listings on eBay that you suspect
breach your intellectual property (IP) rights.
We only allow rights owners who are members of our Verified Rights Owner
(VeRO) programme to request the removal of listings that breach IP
rights. If you're the rights owner for these items, we encourage you to
join the programme.
To join the VeRO Programme, please fill out a Notice of Claimed
Infringement - Statutory Declaration (NOCI) form for the items you
reported in your previous email.
Sign it and fax it back to us at: 0044 870 458 4522.
To access the form, copy this link into a new browser window:
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/community/cop...nfringement.pdf
Please include item numbers, details of the intellectual property rights
that they infringe, and provide contact information for yourself or your
company. We?d also ask you to provide us with documents or additional
information that can support your IP claim (e.g. trade mark number,
patent number, etc).
Here are some of the benefits of the VeRO Programme:
- You'll have direct access to our VeRO Customer Support team.
- You can report any listings that infringe your IP rights and have them
removed.
- You can create an eBay ?About Me? page containing information about
your infringement policies. We recommend doing this as this page can be
linked to the email we send to sellers when we remove an item at your
request.
You can request personal information about members who infringe your IP
rights. In order to receive this information, you need to sign a
Personal Information Agreement.
You'll be able to send future NOCIs to an email address we'll give you
after you fax your first NOCI to us.
We look forward to receiving your fax and working with you in the
future. If you have further questions, please don't hesitate to contact
us by replying to this email.
Kind Regards,
Vinny Pauls
