Looks like I'm getting recasted.

X-Men First class Sebastian Shaw Magneto Helmet Cosplay Fan Made Costume | eBay
From on the listing,
"Support our economy....This helmet is 100% handmade right here in the U.S.A.
Colors: Carbon mist and Metallic silver
The fine print:
Due to the handmade nature of this helmet there will be slight variations in each helmet making each unique and one of a kind."

I think that shows intent to make more than one.
Its my sculpt but not my casting/ finished work.
Too many defects in the casting.

I have an idea of who it is.
The sad thing is that he is a rpf member.
I'm digging around and gather reference as such.
I not sure if i should contact and present it to the mods
or just post the info and let people look into it.

Anymore it seems like you have to keep a list of people you sold to. I'd let the mods know just so they can look into it or at least be aware of it.

Sorry to say, but I am a firm believer of 'name and shame'. All members should know exactly who not to deal with.

Things like this suck :thumbsdown

One thing though. Don't post or say anything firm unless you have concrete evidence.

I think this is the part from the listing that **** me off the most.

They should add:

"Because the work was stolen from another hard working American."

It just irritates me that this person is hiding behind a waving American flag to sell his recast.

I see he has also sold Mortal Kombat 9 Masks and some of the photos look familiar. I know I've seen the Noob Saibot photos on here from one of the members but can't remember who. And I do believe the width of the Sub Zero mask as stated in the listing has the same width as one of Quakevirus' masks.

It seems I recognize this helmet as an existing helmet originally made and casted by well known member of the RPF. It also seems he knows his own work and this is one of the runs of his casting. I see a dilema here. I believe you have some explaining to do elsewhere, i.e. the RPF forums. I am also a member of the RPF, and uncover scams almost weekly on ebay, by no-so honest sellers. Just informing you that your item and actions here are being watched very carefully.

Don't want to seal this 110%, but that Noob Saibot helmet was a scratch-build project. The possibilities of those same 'imperfections' showing up elsewhere on another helmet are practically zero.

I know I recognize the Noob Saibot mask as being the same one made by a member here on the RPF and I will bet they are one and the same person. I just don't know who the user is atm. But do a search for Noob Saibot mask on here and you'll find the suspect. I'm starting to wish I never made those pepakura files. Only person I absolutely trust on here with my files is Quakevirus.
EDIT: Found the Noob Saibot Mask owner I believe. Not sure though if they are one and the same person though as the eBay seller.
