Does anyone have some really good pics of the Rebel Endor blaster rifle? In the only ones I have found, you can't see the detail of the rifle very well.

I already built one, but I pretty much used the same pics you already have.

Eris aka superjedi was referring to my plans to upgrade my existing one with real and/or machined metal parts.

What specific details do you need informations about?

I forget now... :lol I just remembered I still needed them last night.

I think mainly around the delta ring (where the M-16 barrel would attach). I've got a couple tiny pictures that look like the t-shaped stock version has different detail around there. Also I wanted to figure out how the little pouches attach; whether they are like saddle bags or if they were stuck on seperately to each side of the tube.

I'm going to attempt to make it with as many metal parts as possible, so we'll see how it goes.

Wow, this thread could've been started by me. I've also been wondering if higher res versions of those pics were available.. oh well!

I have an airsoft M4 that I'm going to use, and retain function. Our airsoft group is a wacky bunch, and our game nearest Halloween is going to be played in the costumes of our choice! My Endor trooper won't be ready by then but there's always next time.

Is the "M16 flash hider" really what that is on the top above the trigger? I was at a gun show last weekend and the ones I saw didn't have all those steps in it.

Or were the steps added (using pipe or whatever)?

If I remember right in an older thread, someone thought it may have not been an AR15/M16 flash hider, but another assault rifle.

Anyone have any idea about the flash hider? The ones I've seen don't have the groove that runs through the little ovals.

I might just use an M16 one and mount it with two segments of brass or PVC tubing...those will provide the steps. Mine is going to be one of those "close enough" projects. For some props I'm a stickler, and on others...

That's what I'm thinking too. I may just scratch the flash hider together out of metal tubing.

Does anyone know where to get an airsoft Delta ring for the M16 like this one?

The only ones I've seen online (and mistakenly bought...) are for later model M16s. The version on the Endor blaster seems to be like this without a taper towards the muzzle.

The non tapered delta rings are hard to find afaik.
I bought a lower receiver parts kit plus a few additional parts from a member here and I know it took him quite a time to find a dealer that carries them AND has one in stock.

Have got all -rel- parts now to upgrade my Endor rifle, which I built with Matts awesome resin receiver combo back the days :)

Check out G&P...they seem to have a straight delta ring.

Yeah I was going to try their main site after I'm done here. I checked Redwolf and a couple other places with no luck. - I checked G&P's site and you can get a total front with the correct delta ring, but they only seem to sell the tapered one. That front kit is $110...

Does anyone know if both styles of the Endor blaster had magazines? The Complete Visual Dictionary (M16 with MG34-looking stock version) shows it with a magazine, but the other version seems to have a plate or something covering the magazine well.

The M16 mag well is plugged, while there is a fake magazine mounted in front of it.
