what do you guys think?

I think it needs fiberglass and some bondo (just to make it sturdier):D
And your shirt rocks (or it's about to rock, I'm not sure yet!:lol)

Jaw drop!

So is that from Pepakura?

How do you end up knowing how to get the angles of all the facets right? Do you have to measure things with a protractor?

Yea, that has to be pepakura. Geez, I don't even want to know how long you've spent cutting all of those things out.

Holy Moly........That is an incredible feat of patience, skill and sheer dedication. I've always been meaning to try to do a pepkura model, but something a little smaller. Well done. :thumbsup

Its really hard to believe that what lies before you, is made from paper / card stock.

If you don't mind me asking, why that particular model, do you have any plans for the piece at all?

Well done, I'm working on a protoss carrier myself right now. There is some really awesome stuff out there, it just takes a whole lot of time...

Nice! I can imagine the amount of time in unfolding the model and the ever tedious tab-cutting. Lovely work though. It'd make a great base for a clay sculpt over the top for a muscle suit that's a simpler build.

Reminds me of those surrealist Lego sculptures.

I am floored! I've seen helmets, models, guns, and small gadgets made this way but NOTHING like this yet.

Kudos!

I like the fiberglass idea.

Wow :eek I must admit I've never been a huge fan of pep but wow, you've turned a believer out of me!
You must have the patience of a saint :lol
Great job (y)thumbsup

haha thanks guys ;)

my mitts look like merv from sin city.. lol
it was faily time consuming and certainly a challenge, along with paper cuts, burnt form the glue.. yeah all good fun.

the client gave me specific instructions to follow for this gig so more to come soonish ;)

Wow, that's awesome.Just for curiosities sake do you think this took more or less time/effort than sculpting the same thing would've taken?

Thats Nuckin Futts :confused
Great job:thumbsup

( do you have the files to give out? so someone can make one on there own )

I agree
