So I guess now I can bring this up since it's over. Did anyone else see this one on eBay?

RARE. Star Wars Storm Trooper Costume. Movie Prop.

$610 is pretty reasonable for a real screen used Snowtrooper, I mean Storm Trooper, costume. It even came with the case. Wow.

Would anyone else have taken a chance on this one? I emailed the seller and he told me:
"It has a certificate from the Empire stikes back movie that was signed by lucas and the costume staff. Also on the pick ups i could try to arrange something but im bussy with work so i dout it would work out."

I guess we all missed a great deal?

Oh, most certainly. AFAIK, around 600 bucks is the going price for practically every screen-used costume from major movie productions. I would have loved to place a bid myself, but I was too busy negotiating a deal with a guy who was selling an e-mail tutorial on how to build a fully functional lightsaber. :D

Need to send him an email saying George Lucas wants his original costume back as it was stolen and his name forged to the COA. :D

This from the seller's payment instructions (emphasis is mine):

I will refund your money if you have received it and its not what i described. and if its outside the U.S. extra charges will be added, ask me first. No tracking or insurance will be added. I will replace the item if it has arrived damaged.

So I guess he had a spare just in case. Wow. . . lucky dude. :unsure

Yeah, I wish a had his luck and had a few extra screen used suits kicking around the basement.... :)

Guys, this is legit. Just look at what he's sold in the past.

I was thinking about buying it till it hit me that the picture he is using is from Magic of Myth snow trooper
And his answers for my questions didn't add up. Nor did he have any proof it was the real deal.

I dont quit understand youre question, maybe this will help? Its brand new it was an extra for the movie Empire strikes back but it was never used and has been kept in a glass case since.[/b]

I wonder if the glass case comes with it for the 15 dollor shipping charge :lol

when I asked him about pictures fo the actual prop he said something about an engraved metal case....
I don't think that this has been the real deal.

I think he is taking someone for a ride on that auction. It would have gone for WAY more then that if he had just added actual pics of what he had. If I owned a screen used starwars suit I would not let it go for the price of a fan made... heck, thats cheaper then a fan made would have gone for. :confused

That's cheaper than a FAN would have gone for. :unsure

So what communications did anyone have with the seller?

Me, I tried to contact the buyer to ask for pics of the item he eventually receives, as the photo in the auction looked familiar to me and I was curious as to what was actually sold.
Whether eBay let the question through or not, I dunno...
