Raptor claw from jurassic park

Ive always wanted a replica of the raptor claw from the original jurassic park. I know i can buy one but i figured i would try my hand at making my own after a friend offered to pay for one. So here it is........

Cool. So has this got detail on one side only? For a display like you have made, it does not matter.

ya my friend wanted a static piece so it is only sculpted on one side and permanently mounted tol the base. my next attempt will be both sides and cleaner. might end up doing the more realistic claw from jw too. dont know yet, ive just started working with sculpy so theres a serious learning curve

Very nice. I like how you presented it on the matrix. How did you do the tag? Is that painted or engraved?

i actually got them printed out at walmart photolab. cut them out and used model glue to stick em to some thin styrene sheets i had. came out pretty clean. i was going for the best bang for my buck, doing it on the cheap
