Randy Cooper's Jawa Sandcrawler *WIP*

Starting to appreciate the size and complexity of this project now mate !
If there aren’t many readily available reference pics/ information regarding the interior of these , then designing something that ‘ looks & feels ‘ in - universe , wouldn’t be out of the question ... would it ?
I’m sure whatever you come up with Oscar ( that o.k.? ) , will be brilliant !

:cheersGed

Oscar is my name so I guess that's okay! LOL! The interior will most likely be loosely based on the scant reference available so I will add my own twists here and there.

Working on this big guy is quite a thing. I went to get some supplies and chose the basecoat for it....a nice flat brown.

Also there are some big pieces that called for some power tools to get them sanded straight. Hand sanding wasn't cutting it. Went to Home Depot and got me a nice orbital Bosch sander. It made thing a whole lot easier!

As smooth and straight as possible...

That’s one of the great things I’m discovering (as an adult ) about our hobby...
It not only keeps ‘ idle hands ‘ busy doing good work ( away from ‘ normal ‘ work ) , but during those good works being done , it allows us to purchase items and equipment to be used not only for our immediate build , but in and around the house ( for other useful future home projects ) too !...:angel
... at least that’s how I justify it when asked !:lol
