Anyone else having issues getting to http://www.randomsabers.com/ ?

I've been trying to tweak one of the designs I fell in love with enough to make it different so I can order one but when I went to oggle the particular object of my saber lust today the site wasn't coming up. Is this just a web server hick up or is Random gone? :cry I sure hope not.

I am able to access it.

I've been having hiccups in reaching it as well. As far as it being gone, I'm still working on redoing the backend of it so it better not be gone.

:)

I'm still waiting for them to get to my design that I paid for and ordered back in Novemeber, so yeah, it definitely better not be gone.

Well, I finished my custom design and went to hit the site again today and it won't come up again. Figures. :rolleyes :lol

Of course, now that I've read MP33's complaint I'm wondering if I should do business with him or not. Anyone else done business with RS and had good or bad results? It's not like $100 or so is a massive amount of money but it's MY money dammit and I don't want to waste it on someone that might fail to deliver the goods.

I have one of his sabers and love it - http://randomsabers.com/saber.php?name=Schere

The ONLY disadvantage to ordering a saber from Ryan is the looong turnaround time. See his status page, http://randomsabers.com/status.php, to see why.

Although I don't have one of his sabers I will say that from both here and the RandomSabers.com forum I really haven't heard of anyone complain about not getting one. The issue is more that he has a waiting list that is very long as SmilingOtter pointed out.

Well, I designed one, submitted it, had an email chat about it with Ryan and ordered it. It's my birthday present to myself (turned 36 this June). According to Ryan I should have it in time for XMas. LOL.

It's a 3 man company and I think only one guy turns the lathe made parts out so, yeah, I'm part of a long list of salivating yet patient people. Just wait till you guys see my design come to life. I just may have to post a brag thread.

I'm hoping to get mine shipped to me by August, but yeah I haven't heard anyone complain about the quality, just the wait. Like everyone with their's, I love my design, and can't wait for it come. I couldnt wait back in Nov. when I ordered but whatever.
