Rambo machete?

Does anyone have this yet? Just wanted some input before buying.

Yup, its a great knife to own. This is the UC version, which is 99% screen accurate.

I also have a custom Rambo 3 (made by my friends Gil Hibben and Linda Hibben)

And not forgetting the Mission knife

How did you weather the Rambo 4 sheath? The UC comes with a black sheath I believe even though it's dark brown in the movie. Excellent job BTW.:thumbsup :love :thumbsup

Thanks, it's getting there.

Wait until you see the Rambo collection. Once I finish re-building it that is.

Seriously looking at Black Starr knives down the road. I wish he had the right transition part to the blade but otherwise they are awesome. Obviously I can't swing a new or old Lile.

Who made your mission and First Blood knife? They look awesome.

Tom in these old pics, the Misson is a United knife, and the first blood is too. I now have Matton and Andy Wood FB knives. :)

That is a good looking #2 UC. Did you modify it or is it just a good angle/pic, etc???

I think I have seen a Andy FB here. I assume that was yours. Very cool.

I love the work you did on the UC Rambo Machete. The sheath looks great. So does the handle. :thumbsup :thumbsup

No Tom, the only thing I did was replace the sheath with a Jim Buffaloe one, and paint the butt cap.

The FB you are refering to isnt mine, it might belong to a great guy called Johnathon, if it was number 7.

I now have the UC machete in a work bench display, with a screen accurate boat prop, arrow head, headband and real metal shavings from Gils workshop. :)

I've seen that display. Ubber cool.

Well I sold my UC acurized knife so, although bitter sweet, it brings me one small step closer to my own Rambo collection goals.

Its amazing in all the years Ive been collecting screen used Rambo props, they are always few and far between.

About 8 years ago, I had a chance to bid on an actual Rambo 3 jade buhha pendant (No doubt about it, it was the real deal). I had a small bidding war against some other guy outside of ebay, I went to $1800 (that was about my limit back then) and couldnt go any further.

With my rambo 3 boots I was lucky, as I offered the guy $1000 and he accepted it, I think (well to me) it was a fair price. I doubt if it would have made that even if it was in a specialist auction. Thats the funny thing, Rambo props dont really make all that much money when they come to light.
