Ralph McQuarrie Laser Duel Saber Set (WIP)

I've always been a massive fan of Ralph McQuarrie's concept art and one of my favorite pieces is the one he called "Laser Duel" showing Deak Starkiller dueling Darth Vader.

So what else was I to do than take my best shot at replicating these sabers, fast forward a few months and I've got my prototype set in hand thanks to Derrek at Phoenix Props. Personally I'm in love with them, although I know they won't be for everyone. I've got a run of these going but still working up my membership here so can't post in the Project Runs section yet but wanted to share these prototypes with the community nevertheless.

Thanks everyone! I should mention that this was a joint project between Phoenix Props and myself. I’m primarily a designer and Phoenix Props handled the machining/production half of things
