Rako Hardeen's Sniper -3d Model

Hi all I have been messing around with 3ds max a little over the last 24 hours and started making a 3d model of the sniper that Rako Hardeen used in the latest clone wars episode titled "Crisis on Naboo". Anyways I am looking for some feedback/tips. I am hoping to turn this into a Pep file when it is all modeled and shiney. Anyways here is a quick snapshot of the model.

great startin point, ive not seen that episode yet. have u got an idea for the grip? is the rifle visable outside the hand at any point to see the shape of the grip?

Hmmm, Clouded the future of this thred is...

I got kinda irritated with 3ds max!!!! I dont know what people use to model pep files on these fomums but I either such at it or I dont have the right software...

I will see about working on the file later on this week and posting some updates.
