Probably a stupid question, but Where the production made suits spandex or what everyone uses for suit builds?

Maybe I’m blind but I always thought they looked rubber, even though that makes no sense.

Spider-Man 1 used silk screened medium weight lycra.

Spider-Man 2 used matte milliskin lycra

Spider-Man 3 used nylon tricot stretch fabric.

The webs and front spider for 1, 2, and 3 were foam latex.

The back spider was foam latex only in 2 and 3, and was silk screened as part of the pattern for 1.

Nylon Tricot comes in different finishes. So it could be matte at well. Tricot tends to be more textured so matte tricot might appear more matte in some lighting.

i have a question regarding the colors of the 02 and 04 suit. Does anybody know the color codes for the red and blue parts of the suits?

I‘d really appreciate it if someone could help me out with this.

Also is medium weight lycra most similar to print costumes standard lycra or super lycra?
