Interest Raiders Smith and Wesson M1917 Replica

DENIX makes beautiful gun replicas made of metal, with prices ranging from $100 to $200. They have a suggestion list, and any guns that make it into the top 5 have a good chance of being mass-produced. All you have to do is VOTE! You don't need to register or provide any personal details. Simply click the NAME bar to type in the gun you'd like to vote for, or scroll down and hit SEE ALL to browse the proposed guns. Even if you're not interested in purchasing any of these, please help the community by leaving your vote. It costs nothing. Let's bring these beauties to the top and watch them shine! Remember, you can vote twice - once using your Wi-Fi connection and once with your cellular internet ;)

It would take a lot of modification to make it look correct.

Denix upped their quality in recent years so hopefully if these pistols get made they will be better than previous offerings. Even still, to have a reasonably accurate S+W and Webley in full metal, all at a good price and widely available? That's a dream come true for me.

Yes,good stuff...here's hoping !

I emailed Denix to ask when the polling will close as well as how many of the new selections they're planning to produce? Just one new model, or several based on the top voted items?

I also inquired about manufacturing time and when they might be available for purchase. If I get a response I'll post it here.

The Webley is currently at 4 and the Bapty is at 7! Keep those votes coming in!

I'm thinking the MG42 is a starting point for SW fans so here's a prop available now...site says MG34 but close enough ! uk customer will need v.c.r. act Cover

Just wrote to the sales team from Denix:

Hi there!

First of all, I would like to sincerely thank you and congratulate you on the amazing work you do. Your replicas look incredibly authentic, are excellently crafted, and are gaining more and more popularity.

I am reaching out because I am a huge fan of the Indiana Jones films. Together with a large community of fellow fans, we have managed to push two firearm models from the proposal list into the top two! I am referring to the Smith & Wesson M1917 (Raiders of the Lost Ark) and the Webley WG Army (The Last Crusade). We are also interested in the Colt Official Police (Temple of Doom), and I am sure it will soon make its way to the top as well.

We would love to see these models enter mass production, as we firmly believe they would sell like hotcakes. Given the high level of interest in these replicas, we have a few questions:

1. How much longer will voting for the proposed firearm models remain open?

2. Do you consider only the model that reaches first place, or do you also take into account other models in the top five?

3. If one of the selected models is approved for production, what would be the estimated timeline from approval to market release?

4. Have you considered releasing a collection of firearms inspired by the original Indiana Jones trilogy?

Despite their age, the Indiana Jones films continue to enjoy immense popularity. Moreover, the recent release of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has reignited interest in the saga among both longtime fans and newcomers alike. Currently, there are no high-quality replicas of these firearms available on the market, which is why I believe their production would be met with great enthusiasm.

I would greatly appreciate your response and look forward to hearing your thoughts on this matter.

Best regards,
Dan

The Bapty dropped a few points to number 2. As long as they plan to make more than one model, that should be fine. I want the Bapty and the Webley.

The polling appears to have reset. The "Indiana Jones Bapty" is currently at #100 with 50 votes. What's strange is that it's showing that I have previously voted, but when I voted the count was over 1,000.
