Not a criticism against your build but how is a communicator that big, stealthy in comparison to the smaller commbadge used from TNG onwards. The commbadge was often hidden beneath clothing when discretion was required.
Another aspect of modern Trek that makes no sense.

I haven't seen the series, but based on your previous work I'm sure this is a spot on match to the original prop.

This has nothing to do with the show itself. Raffi was on a stealth mission for Starfleet Intelligence, therefore I personally named my item the Raffi Stealth Comm to differentiate it. I named it thusly due to the nature of her work, not the nature of the comm. As far as official naming is concerned I know of no designation for this particular prop. That and the design and use of it makes it appear like a belt buckle when not in use.
