R2d2 kit

Hey guys, I bought an R2D2 kit about ten years ago and was wanting an idea of what it's currently worth. It's got the spun aluminium w/ grooves head and all the vacuform and resin pieces. I also have a sound board which has random assembled sounds and is motion and sound activated. I have some woodwork done and the body outer has the grooves done. It came with a concrete tube body but I don't remember who the seller was. He was the only kit seller at the time. Any info on what the starting price might be would be helpful. Thanks.

Pictures would help, Nicodeamous. The R2 builders club has made some huge strides with parts and methods in ten years, so it may be hard to find a market for it.

That sounds like one of Gregg Knowling's kits (Droidboy)

At the time his kit was one of the only options. However, the R2 Builders assembled much better reference through the years, and this kit is now very obsolete.

There are several pieces that could be used for someone trying to build a low-cost droid...(the D&D dome for example)...But I wouldn't expect the kit to be worth much anymore...$100, maybe $150 if you are lucky.

Hope that helps,

Jason

Let's see some pics, I'm totally new to this so maybe a cheap, not-so-accurate, R2 build is right up my alley. :)
