I cannot recommend enough the book I posted the image of. It was the best purchase I ever made and it is an eye-opener.

You know, I think technology companies missed out on hiring him to design some of their products.

Saw him do a presentation at an exhibit of his work in SF about 20 years ago.

Before his presentation he was just wandering around the exibit talking to people.

I didn't know until now either.

Last year I had a client who attended the Art Center School in Pasadena with Syd in the 1950's. He told me that Syd was already such a powerhouse coming into art school that they tried not to display much of his work because it just intimidated other students.
Such a huge loss.
