R.I.P. Richard D. Trentlage

Back when commercials were carefully crafted to get your attention, these days they're just made fast and cheap.
 
I saw that in the New York Times. Sad. But known to millions, which is more than I can say for me.

... I used to keep unusual short articles and obits in my wallet, like the guy who invented Spaghetti-O's, etc. One of them simply read:

"Faced with an increase in postal rates and a shortage of the new 1-cent stamps, some Americans have resorted to taping pennies to the outside of envelopes. The Post Office would like them to stop."
