Quick Q: Dyeing PVC gogo boots with Plastidip?

So, my wife has knee-kigh red gogo boots from her last Halloween costume, and this year she needs black ones. I know VHT type vinyl dye won't do glossy PVC, but what about Plastidip?

- can the spray get smooth or is it always textured?
- is it flexible?
- since it's rubberized, does it stick to itself (if the boot bends and wrinkles, etc)?
