Questions About Bond Films that You Have been Afraid to Ask SPOILERS

Speaking of piecing Bond movies together...I've been playing 007 Legends for PS3 and it's cool because it several different movies as levels with Craig in the role instead of Connery, Lazenby, Bronson etc. It's starts with Skyfall and blends the other movies in with it. It's worth picking up used, I think I paid like $30.

I'll have to give it a go. That said, I've got a few games sitting on the shelf in the wrapping still already...

How's the gameplay?

It takes a bit of getting use to but its like any FPS. Each level takes about 40 minutes - 1 hour

Its cool how they put a modern twist on these old villains.

I have a Bond question, why the heck are the Bond on Set books priced so crazy?! The Skyfall one is pretty reasonable but the Quantum of Solace one is like $500 to $1000! I was looking at collecting the Craig era books to go with my props but I'm not paying that!

Give it two months after the craze has died down and you can pick it up for $20.

As a matter of fact there's the pair of them in the JY for $30.

Kind of a weird question, but in TLD, how does Bond sled down a hill in a cello case with a girl, and hold a cello, whilst benig fired at? and how does he throw it over a rail and catch it a second later? it just seems implausible.

Of all the implausible things in the Bond films that's not one of them. :lol

Aside from the "getting shot at" thing all of that was done by stunt men.

LOLOL Re: Cello mystery.

In reality, I doubt they would have moved very quickly if at all. Probably would have tipped over very easy as well.

What is most implausible is sliding so easily across the border. Merely flashing their passports would never have worked. They would have been stopped.

Here is another one. Watched The Spy Who Loved me. Everytime Jaws takes a bite out of something, I always expect him to spit out debris...but he never does. He takes the chain completely in his mouth, and snaps it. But it looks as if their should be a link left in his mouth. Same for the wood. He takes a bite, then his mouth is shut tight.

So he's either eating the stuff or favoring one side.

That never really bothered me. What REALLY bugged me is yes, he has strong metal teeth... But the rest of his skull is just bone. How the hell does his jaw not snap in half when he bites a HARDENED STEEL CHAIN???

I chalk that up to 'leftover Roger Moore' plot devices. If Roger hadn't quit on his own, he totally would have been in The Living Daylights!!
Just look at how different in tone TLD is from Licence to Kill and you'll see what I mean

I don't know about that. They had started looking for a new Bond since FYEO. By AVTAK John Glen said that they were pulling every trick they had to make him look half decent in the role.

Ya man he was looking like he could have been Stacy's grandpa
