Question On Machiko Armor

Hi guys, I am currently working on a Machiko armor with foam, but I was wondering on what would be a good method to achieve its texture (those embossed little holes on the breast area and mask)
I really have no idea, so anything you come up with, will be greatly appreciated.

you mean the hammered look? like the bios?

i would recommend a dremmel with a thin sand head on it(like a brill bit),practice on a piece your not using to get the feel of it.Hope that helps
