Question about Vader shoulder bells

Hey guys i have a set of the Portumac revenge of the sith shoulder armor and as of now i just have the shoulder bells completely velcroed to the armor so it looks like one solid piece. But im getting tired of not being able to lift my arms at all and i know alot of people either cast in, or rivot hinges or leather straps to make the shoulder bells mobile. Im too nervous to really drill or damage the armor at all and was wondering, if i just rough up the resin underside where the hinges would go would gorilla glue possibly hold them?

Any help or even pictures would be great.

I've used epoxy putty, hot glue and even superglue to hold leather (cut up belt) straps to Vader armour before. Always worked well.

The best solution I came up with was the rough up the underside with sandpaper, milliput (2 part epoxy putty) 2 bolts to the inside of the armour and attach the shoulder bells (via leather straps) with a bolt on each. This means the bells are removable, should you need to do so, for repairs, shipping or whatever.

Thanks for the info, that i can probably do. If you get a chance, i would love to see a picture of this mod.

Sorry dude, I don't have any pics.

The armour sets I have made or finished for folks are long since gone, only have an unfinished set here in my junkbox .
