Question about rubies Batman Begins cowl.

Is there anyway to modify a rubies Batman Begins cowl into a Dark Knight cowl? I was thinking of cutting the neck off of it then using a heat gun to slightly reshape the chin and bottom area so that it appears to be a fitting cowl rather than all loose.

I have a design for a batman begins (batman the dark knight) cowl in pepakura. PM me and I will send the design to you. You will need pep designer to reshape / resize it to fit your cranium. The first one I built for my nephew turned out half decent (the nephew practically lives in it) and I used three coats of matt black with alittle gloss black to highlight around the eyes. If I can find a pic I will post it

Thanks so much. I just have no idea how to pep. I have seen tons of people do it but I can never wrap my head around it. I will try to do some research and if I figure out how to do it I will PM you for those files. Thanks again. I also have a bit of a time restraint because I have to make a complete Batman and a complete bane costume by mid October and I am going to be busy with some other stuff as well.

Pep'ing a Dark Knight cowl would being a little weird unless you were doing it with foam. In the movies it always looked like some kind of rubber or foam rubber cowl. I can't imagine a rigid fibreglass cowl.

If this is your first pep, I'd suggest doing it more than once to get a really nice clean base.

Nah the pep BMDK works quite well I have done them before. When it was almost complete I stuck on a few bits of rubber from a bicycle tyre and built them up to look tougher, end result kicked arse big time. Had one dud think it was the real thing, till he saw the dude wearing it lol
