Question about Generation Sabers

If it's the guy I am thinking of, I've seen a couple of his maul sabers and they were very nice, with no rough machining marks (like I've seen on some sabers) although I think the earlier versions he did were missing a few of the radiator fins near the emitters, but I think he has since corrected that... I bought a weathered Obi Wan ANH saber from him not so long ago on eBay. Whilst I believe his earlier versions of each saber were not super accurate, I know his pieces are extremely well made and have some nice little features on them, such as his interpretaion of the graflex clamps "box" section. In fact, I'd say the one I have is of my favourite sabers in my collection, despite the many inaccuracies. I'll see if I can dig out some pictures of the saber later.

He's based in the UK, so for us guys over here, the prices are pretty good. I found his service and coms to be top notch when dealing with him. I had my saber within two days from paying. I think there may of been a couple of threads over on rebelscum about his work too.

I own three of his sabers (Maul, Obi TPM and Quinlan Vos). They are all well made but not 100% accurate.

He is a nice guy, works fast and his prices are good (especially if you live in europe).

Personally i was not disappointed from his work.

I've bought a saber from Grant aswell. Great guy to deal with. Would love to get one of his Maul sabers.

Shingouki28 - Would love to see some pictures of the Obi saber he made.

Sorry to drag up a very old thread but I was wondering if anyone has ordered from Grant any time recently and if he's still making the saber hilts, I tried emailing him a couple of weeks ago but didn't hear anything back. I did a search for on Google and this thread was one of the top results after the website.

I used to work with Grant back when I had a physical Comic and collectibles store called Generation X and I sold Grants Sabers in the store, when my store closed I kept in touch with Grant and sold them on ebay and set up the website. I worked with Grant on the accuracy of the hilts by sending him reference pictures, measurements blueprints etc.
As my new job became more demanding I passed all the website details on to Grant and people dealt with him directly from around mid 2008 onwards (it may have been earlier or later I can't remember the exact timeline).

I'm actually interested in finally purchasing a few for my own collection and was hoping someone may know if he's still building/selling? I figured it would be easier to post in this thread rather than start a new one.
