Question about Customising ID disk

Ultimatum

I recently bought the deluxe edition Tron Legacy ID disk. It's pretty awesome, but is there anyway I could make the lights stay on all the time?
Without opening it I've just been trying it out in different modes and it flashes for a bit before turning off again.

I was having that same thought as well. There is actually a guy on here that built a great replica of the disc.

Also, how do I attach it to my back so that I can easily take it off like in the movie?

There are lots of people modding the disks. Some people like Soulinertia are making kits to upgrade the disks elecTRONics.

As far as just keeping the current LEDs to stay on, there is a simple way of doing it. You basically bypass the control chip and solder jumper wires to the battery.

Here's the thread which I found it in:

jyhash used a PVC endcap, foam, and some glue to attach his ID disk to his back. Others have used magnets. It really just depends on what you are comfortable with. Just try looking around at what others have done and have at it. Good luck. :cool
