Question About Baron Boutique Quantum of Solace Suit

I was looking at Baron Boutique's QOS charcoal suit, and wanted to know if anyone could attest to the quality of the build and the fabric in general.

I wouldn't be wearing it for cosplay, but rather as an actual suit for daily wear, so I'd also like to know how their suits wear. For that, I'm sure some of the Doctor Who crowd could chime in, since they probably wear the hell out of their suits!

It's just very hard to find a 3-roll-2 suit with narrow, but not skinny, lapels, and a ticket pocket...at least for under $1k.

Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

...and on similar topic, can anyone recommend a good source for pocket squares?

Baron's construction is very nice, probably on par with Magnoli's. I haven't seen the fabric they use, it's anybody's guess. However, they are great about sending swatches if you tell them you're interested. Try sending them an email. As for pocket squares, if the NY fashion district is anything like the one in LA, you should be able to find thousands of them there.

The fashion district is very fabric oriented. For suiting fashion, Midtown is where it's at...because that's where all the guys who wear suits are. I'd rather not pay the NY premium though for a decent pocket square.

The edges on most "affordable" pocket squares (And even some more expensive ones) just makes them look cheap. I'm a guy who likes clean lines. I hate pick stitching because I think it makes a suit look unfinished. And it's the same way with all of my accessories. Clean, solid lines.

Now onto the real topic, I've actually been talking to Magnoli now about his version of this suit, and I'm thinking I'm going to go with his. His reputation and service are fantastic, and his is only slightly more expensive when factoring in the shirt and tie.

And if I like his work, I may have a new source for my work suits. ;)

I have a Baron Boutique QOS suit and its amazing. The build is really nice. The fabric is very light, i have worn it this week while its been hot and its still very light. 140s/cashmere blend. I got the full canvass option as well for an extra $80. I didn't order the shirt or tie though, so saved myself 100 bucks.

Make sure you ask if you can choose a lining i went for a very dark red. Also make sure that you get 5 working buttons. Surgeons cuffs. Very important.

i've attached some pics, sorry they're a bit crap. For the $$$ that I saved, the speed and the service I would highly recommend them. They were lovely. Plus, I wear it to work and get nothing but compliments. Its very stylish. No belt loops, it only has side adjusters.

Don't give him any attention. The guy is clearly a troll.

The suit looks good, and getting functioning buttons on the cuffs for BB's prices is really incredible. Hope you get a lot of wear out of it!
