Question about a prop display

Hey gang,

Recently, I've had to redo my entire prop display and was forced to condense everything down to the shelves in the picture.

For size reference, you can see 3 27x40 posters. I have all 6 SW posters, but obviously can't display them all with the props.

I was thinking of getting all mini posters (11x17) and getting Indy, Alines, LOTR:FOTR and Blade runner as well. The wall space is 40x84, so I could easily hold 2 rows of 7 mini posters.

So what do you think?

I think that's a great idea! Right now, the regular posters are kind of overbearing and seem to dominate your collection. Plus, the lack of 'empty wall' around them makes it seem a bit too cramped. The mini-posters will be much more conducive to your current setup. Plus, I think adding the variety of other movies will help accent your collection more (which is very cool btw).

The way I went with me Bond collection display (since there are 21 movies!!) is that I picked up postcard size repros of the movie posters and then displayed them along with the relevant props inside my detolf glass cases.

RH, that's a pretty damn nifty display. If I had that much variety, I'd probably do the same thing.

I do have other props, but they're in another location as I don't want to make the one display too crowded.
