Quantum Leap Gummi Handlink Project

Yeah, but people post these threads to show off their work and garner interest in their work. It's just not cool to take over threads with yours, offering your stuff for sale. I know you are new and all, but not cool.

Another member here was going do be doing these but no recent updates. :(

If you have a chance to pick up one of Gregg's links by all means do so. The one I have from him is just a beautiful piece of work and one of my favorite props in my meager collection.

I did a run of these and there was no interest which really surprised me. It seemed like such a popular prop too. I think I have enough pieces to build another one if anyone cared.

Gregg

sorry to revive an old thread. I was heading out to a convention in June with dean and scott, curious how much a run of one would go for :)

Has anyone seen a replica of the 2nd version handlink? The gummi version is the 3rd version I believe. I kind of like the version before that one, but I can not find it anywhere.

man that is awesome!!! always loved that show and this particular prop glad to see someone made one! fantastic work!

Thanks for the kind words guys. They were fun to build, I was just surprised that no one ever wanted them. Either way, I'm happy that I have mine :)

That's fantastic. I loved that show and that is certainly one of the most if not the most iconic props from it.

I just checked the junkyard and the gummy one has already sold. I'd love to know more about buying one...Gregg, do you have any left or would you consider making one for a serious buyer?

Thanks,
Brad

Thanks for the kind words. I'll be doing some more of these shortly. It's next on the list, I just need to get through my current build for some clients.

Fantastic! This show is one of the first sci fi shows I ever watched (A youngin) I always loved this piece.

I will likely be offering a different version from the one I did last time. Same Gummy....just different shapes and placements a bit.

It will be offered finished and as a kit. But again...gotta get through this build first.

Looking forward to seeing the next version. I cannot wait to put my name on the buy list for one of those. Nice work!
