Dang quake! You are something else! awesome job dude!
< is jealous.
we want full suit photos! we want full suit photos! we want full suit photos!
LOL looks amazing. Can't wait to see it in action. Perhaps you can tackle another suit next?
Very Very Nice Work......
To make all that out of a few rivits velcro and trash cans. Very impressive.
Those rivits on the inside look rough though. Gotta find a way to block those. I think that foam tape will rub off then you will be walking through Comicon getting all scrathed up.
forget the iron man pics. lets see some pics of this "trophy fiance" LOL just kidding dude. No offense.
Hey quake, I'm also building a Mk V suit using Fett's method. Do you have any more tips for making sure my cuts in the plastic are straight? I tried doing the score-and-break method you mentioned earlier, but my cuts still come out a little crooked.
thanks!yeah the rivets are rough in some spots ie. the boots(shin area) and in the spine area primarily. i was thinking that i might not last that long aswell. maybe some glue some canvas strips over them with E6000?
lol no offense taken! she's a beaut, she is. (she is a model) . i think her lineage 2 dark elf armor is my next project.
Looks great Quake! Loving the ridiculous poses lol. Those boots turned out killer!
ZOMG! I love it! It looks amazing! One slight problem I see and its really minor and I kinda hate being a stickler about it but the silver chest pieces that runs out to the arms looks a bit too big. Sorry for being a stickler but I'm a perfectionist (or as close to perfection as one can be). This is really an accurate build though. Trim that chest piece and I think it'll look great. I really hope no one takes this out of proportion, but quakevirus, you outdid Master Le in this. You sir win, just win.
Looks good, I agree though, the silver chest p[art kind of throws it off.ZOMG! I love it! It looks amazing! or maybe even some tucking, try cutting the excess off and then taking those scraps and attach them to your biceps slightly under to where its snug up in your arm pics. Just an idea.
Thats what SHE said, lolgood idea! i am definitely open to suggestions.![]()
