on the upside, this could mean that at some point in the future QMX could replicate the painting of the Tardis exploding....ive wanted one of those since i saw that ep...
Good God, who on Earth would want one of those things hanging up anywhere. Truly awful.
You do realize that Doctor Who has a farily strong following in the gay community and among women, right? :cool I'm sure there's a few out there with tastes running in that direction that will be overjoyed about it. I'm not but that doesn't rule out others.

Look at it, it's poorly executed and just.. well, bad :confused
and a macabre article for home decor.)
Nah. I don't think so. :thumbsdownMacabre? Really?
Trident = A symbol of the controller of worlds, one that destroys evil and restores order...
Cherubs = Spiritual beings generally associated with the presence of a diety...
Crown = Power, legitimacy, immortality, righteousness, victory, triumph, resurrection, honour and glory of life after death...
ALL very symbolic traits of The Doctor and his character in the new series... The lack of 'clothing' is also consistent and symbolic of mythological art that depicts dieties...
As I said before look past the phobia of what it is not, and look at what it is... I'll swear have any of you been to a fine art museum?

I got the impression that he was saying that the original prop painting was poorly executed, which I would tend to agree with. So what QMX have reproduced / scanned is a not terribly flattering portrait of Matt Smith as the Doctor, but at least it's screen accurate. How can you say 'poorly' executed? It replica prop that looks pretty damn close to what was seen on screen short of being undersized...
You really took time to think that deeply about a piece of visual fluff? Man, you need to get out more...:lol
