Qmx Mal-Any news?? April 30???

I know this is getting old, but Forbidden Planet, where I have mine ordered, have this listed as April 30th!

This is getting really tiresome, as I have to make sure I have the money in my account when this ships. I unerstand the delays, but I'd at least like to know if QMX are going to give some advance warning before this ships

Birdie did you try their customer service? I have been waiting to see what the final product looks like before I order.

While I personally don't think I'll be holding my Mal pistol until around may-june, I DID recently have e-mail contact with QMX customer service about the blueprints... so they are there and they are answering messages.

Nope, got one on order from a UK dealer, but not holding out much hope, to be honest.

Well I for one am willing to wait.
I'd rather they get it right first time and deliver good product late than have them use us as the final inspection process ala MR.
(eg. send a load out, get a load sent back, then declare there are 'quality problems')

I too would rather wait a bit and let them get it right. I dunno, maybe it's because I work in the games industry and am very used to the pushing of delivery dates (sometimes by a year at a time) but I'm not worried. By switching manufacturers, QMX have possibly lost a large part of the profit margin and are being extra careful this time around.

The two things I've bought from them thus far have been great and I really hope they get things going smoothly so they can produce that large-scale Serenity!
