QMX Dracula Ring

I'm curious if anyone (other than myself) got this ring and what they think of it. Also, does anyone have the earlier, similar ring? I forget who made them, but it's very similar in appearance to this ring.

I'm wondering how the two campare side by side.

The first time it was offered was by Danny Surrocco from Dimensional Designs. He stopped offering it several years ago.
It was Sterling Silver with a red Cornelian stone and came in a reddish coffin shaped box with an antique scroll about the legend of Dracula.
Bela Lugosi Jr. saw the ring at his table, at Chiller, and was quite impressed with it.
I got one from him as well as a replica of the Mummy ring worn by Boris Karloff. Forrest J Ackerman was selling those and, on the underside, he included an actual thread from Karloff's mummy wrappings inside a glob of clear resin.....

So Dimensional Designs was the one who made the original ring? I know it came in a wooden coffin and had the scroll included. The ring itself is VERY similar to the one made by QMX. It has a bit more detail to it, especially on the sides and it's a little larger. The QMX doesn't come close to fitting my finger, but the Dimensional Designs is probably a size 11 or so. I understand the price on them is really up there, where as the QMX at $200.00 is (IMHO) very reasonable for a sterling ring with nice detail.

They are NOT identical.

How do you come to that conclusion? Have you owned the Dimensional design ring? I remember when they were first offered and it said they molded it from FJA's ring. Looking at pics they sure look identical.

I see some subtle differences - the 4 crowns in the crest being the most obvious to my eye. Also note the crown up at the top, and the details directly below it.

Yes this is NOT the ring from the Movie "Dracula" but the A & C Movie.

Well, I thought I recognized it from the John Carradine films...
But Lugosi wore it as Dracula (in at least one film) and that's good enough for me.

No idea. I pre sold 7 and had to refund 3 people so far. They pre ordered June/July last year.

I haven't had an update in weeks though.
