Pyramid Head build in 3 days

Hi, RPF!

There's a first time convention coming up where I live this weekend and I only recently heard about it.

I am wanting to dress as Pyramid Head from the Silent Hill 2 video game. I've never built a costume by hand before and was looking for some tips.

I am going to create the hemlet and Great Knife using carboard and I can just get a pair of boots from a shop.

What I am hitting a wall on is what to use for his smock.

Possibly a canvas or cloth material...but what tyoe of clothes should I actually use?

Me and the girlfriend just used a large piece of fabric, distressed with and brown face paint. You will want plenty of space at bottom as it looks at its best when down to the floor. We used cardboard for the head too, just make sure you layer it to keep it as sturdy as possible.
