Just what the topic says... I'm still working on my DH-17, and I'm not sure what to use for the trigger guard.

Cheers~

Made mine out of 1/2" brass strip I picked up at the hardware store.

I always use aluminium sheet as i have it lying around ,brass sheet is good too but you could even try styrene sheet I am sure that would do the job :)

as a quick fix, I used a hair clip, reben tthe metal and then put in in place,

Not the best solution, but it worked.

I actually found a dryer duct clamp at Ace hardware the other day and cut a piece of it to fit. It looks great. Thanks for all the advice guys.

If you are familier with a filing cabinet, look at the file hardware that is used to hold the hanging files. I used the part the file hangs on. It is easy to bend and is the right width for the grips. Look at the photo, the little metal bar on the left of the photo is the bar I use. Most office supply stores should have these. If you buy a cheap set you can get about 6 gaurds from the 2 pieces.
Good Luck,
Brian

This link is to what I use. It is just for reference and not a sales pitch. You can find these at a vendor near you.
