got this son of a gun from a friend today. so I thought I'd take some pics.

it's a real vest. I just need to add the plates on the inside.
the pants are police issue cargo pants. same with the holsters. and the boots are Military issue boots.

I'm doing the costume myself - can you give me any tips on the vest?
Also, I'm trying to get hold of the correct trousers and boots.
The boots being black tanker boots (easy enough to get in the US) but I haven't worked out the trousers.
