Hi All
Just thought id post more pics of my pulse rifle build. Finally got some paint on the stock today and got it mounted. Im pretty happy with how it came out.
Working on the shroud now. Trimmed it up. Still more to go. Need to relocate the wires for the stick batteries and rework the thompson grip.

Pulse rifle builds, in my mind, never get old. One of my favorite prop weapons of all time! Keep up the good work!

Very nice work so far...can´t wait to see what you´ll do to make the shrouds work!

Markus :)

Have new pics of my pulse rifle. Have new Matsuo shrouds which I have fitted up and fit great! Ditched the airsoft launcher and went with a HCG launcher From matsuo. Had to spend some time making new mounting brackets and filing out the barrel vent area. My custom made barrel vent is a little too tall so I had to alter that area a little. Here are some updated pics. All comments welcome!

Im using. a cyma thompson. Had a metal receiver and plastic lower grip area. Still have to fit the mag base, wire up the counter and change the grip. Not there yet!

Very cool. CYMA's are good for these builds. Same dimensions as a Marui at a cheaper price. The plastic isn't really that bad either. I'll be following this thread!

Heres some more work on my pulse rifle. Installed the counter and switch today! works great. I used a coin battey and wired it to the switch. I ground out a place for the battery inside the shroud. heres some pics!

I still need to put mine back together for Halloween. This build is motivating me to get it done.

I like the idea and the placement of the battery. Not that easy to change but it opens up room in the magwell.

Thanks. trying to keep the cyma thompson functional and still find room for everything is challenging. Was aprehensive about drilling into these beautiful shrouds but I like how it turned out.

Hi all
I made more progress on my pulse rifle this weekend. Got the mag base attached to the magazine. Just need to clean it up and get it painted.I also crazy glued in the t shaped piece back into the receiver so I could put a screw back in. This screw will attach the metal trim to the shrouds at the back of the pulse rifle. Also disassembled and cleaned all the parts to get them ready for paint. Heres some more pics!

Hi all
Ive been working on my pulse rifle again this week. I decided I wanted my counter to light up when I put in the mag. Tried a few different ways to make this happen. Well I learned a few ways how not to make this happen. So I removed all the wiring and started over. I went to my local Radio shack and came home with this........image.jpg

This is a roller switch. This way I can slide the mag in and the roller switch will engage the counter. I didn't have a lot of room inside the rifle so I decided to put the switch at the end of the grenade launcher. photo - Copy.JPG

Once I decided where I wanted it I carved out an area for it to sit in. I drilled two small holes and screwed it down. I later solderd two wires on the switch. Ill post more pics when I finish the wiring. Im also installing a switch to turn off the counter when I want to.
