Pulse Rifle parts needed, HELP!!!

Hi Guys,

I'm almost there with regards to getting all the parts I need for making my Pulse Rifle. However I have just realised after reading a post that I am still missing two main parts. First off is the airsoft adapter block made by Tommin this block attaches to the front of the Thompson and the SPAS cage is attached to it. Secondly I need a Matsuo PR grip. If anyone can help with either of these items I would be very greatful. I have tried e-mailing Tommin through his site Pulse Rifle Resources, Tutorials, and Accessorries. but I haven't received a reply as yet so if you are on here reading this Tommin drop me a PM.

Thanks guys

Pete

Just use your thompson barrel, and extend it.

That adapter makes your barrel's diameter too small.

Non-firing barrels are 16mm while firing barrels are somewhere in the 18-19mm range.

Maybe someone has a real steel thompson, and can measure the diameter without the sight ring.

I have a grip you can have. I got it by mistake. I have a real Thompson lower and I think the grip is for a TM lower. It is sorta hollowed out. Looks like its meant to slide over something. Does that sound right? If it does you can have it.

I have two HCG PR grips; if that would work for you, you can have one or both for cheap; pm me if interested.

Thanks for your feedback guys, I have PM'd a couple of you :)

Thanks Noble for your advice on the adapter block. It sounds to me like you have built your own Pulse Rifle. Could you shed any light on how you attached the SPAS cage?

can I chime in?
I used a 1/4" alum plate that I shaped to fit with a hacksaw and file, then attatched that with some machinescrews I found that happened to fit the tommy(TM) the SPAS did not need alteration as I used the vents to put the bolts through to fix the 870 shotgun to the plate. tricky though as regards to assembley because the bolts have to slide through the action and out the top. the spacers are old sling swivel bases I had lying around. the barrel is homemade from a scrap alum bar. however, this is a nonfiring PR so you will probaby need Nobles advice in the end.

Demetrius, that's exactly how I did mine. 1/4 " aluminum plate bolted to the airsoft. It works great.

Perfect!!! thanks guys!! I was actually thinking of doing it this way but saw the Tommin thing I figured there was something I was missing.

The Tommin adapter works in basically the same way, but the larger aluminum block gives the whole thing more rigidity.

Cool, I'm just about to start making this piece now. I'll post some images when I'm done.

Thanks for all your help guys

oh just one last question while I'm here. When fitting the Remington into the SPAS cage is it only attached to the front grenade block or is there any other places were it is attached?

Depends on what kind of shotgun you are using. If you are using an airsoft, it is probably fine to just attach it to the front block as it will pretty light. The way the SD Studios ones were built (using real shotgun and thompson parts), the two screws that hold the SPAS cage on go through and into the receiver of the shotgun.

Thats actually a quite good idea. I might looking at doing that with mine.

At the moment the shotgun tends to move up and down slightly when cocking it.
