Hi all... Starting another pulse rifle. Starting with seananigans 3d printed kit, a metal stock and barrel vent purchased from treadwell and a thompson cyma metal airsoft gun.
The thompson arrived broken in half. Contacted the seller and he refunded my money. The damage occurred during shipping. Any way to repair this?

Depends...if the break is hidden by some other parts then JB Welds could do the trick. Usually, airsoft is zamak - pot metal. To my knowledge; it's not welding well.

If you don't need the innards, I'd try to line it with something so you wouldn't be relying on just adhering the broken surfaces together. But that's a pretty nasty break.

Soo the seller and i came to a agreement. I sent her 50 since that was what i won the auction for... Im keeping the gun since its worth that in parts and im fixing it. So ill have a little over 100 in it when all is said and done. Dont think its a bad price for a all metal thompson airsoft.

If I were going to fix that break (DAMN!) I would probably start by sanding the rough broken edges down flat and then use a piece of metal on the outside and drill and tap into that receiver on both sides of the break to hold it together. I'd use a metal putty to fill in any gaps.

That said, I'd spend $60 on a replacement all day long. Evike to the rescue. They have saved my butt a few times.

Thanks for the advice noeland. I thought same thing at first but i have a upper receiver on the way. In the meantime i began making my own barrel extension and dissasembled the upper receiver.
