PS3 - The Last Of Us trailer...

This looks interesting. Im always up for an end of the world zombie sort of game. Do you know is this coming out for the 360 or just PS3?

Eventually I'll get a ps3, needs to go down in price more as the only other game that looks good is MGS4. I do love the look of this though.

I bought a PS3 so I could watch Blu-rays; I also prefer games that are single-player rather than online competition/multiplayer. The PS3 fits perfect for both uses!

It depends on what you're looking for in a game. The Uncharted series is a *lot* of fun, there's a bunch of race/driving games (I just *love* ripping through San Francisco at 5 AM, or jumping an ATV over Hawaiian waterfalls!), flying games and other stuff.

While The Last of Us has a great look (as does Dead Island), I've really lost my taste for zombies (did I make a joke?? :confused), so I doubt I'll pick it up.

It looked more like an alien than a zombie. Yeah i'm sick of multiplayer online, it's like all the game companies are into that. Sadly half the game companies are putting out crap, I feel another Great Videogame crash coming on like the on in 1983.

Whether or not they're technically "undead", I think this still qualifies as a "zombie" game. Change the enemies all you want, but if it plays like a zombie game, then it's a zombie game.

I'm mildly interested in this, but more out of curiosity to see how it comes out rather than excitement about playing it. There have been too many of these "game-changing" and "genre-defining" games that set out to do something "totally unique and amazing", and when the game comes out, it ends up being exactly like every other game out there.

Take Dead Island, for example. Everyone got super-pumped about the game after that first trailer came out (you know the one I mean), and when the game actually launched, it turned out that the only thing unique about the game was the setting. Aside from the fact that it took place in a tropical environment, largely during broad daylight, it ended up being just another zombie game, kind of a mix of Left 4 Dead and Resident Evil.

I'm afraid that this game will end up being the same way. Okay, so you've got a partner, which turns the game into a full-game escort quest, which people traditionally hate with a passion. They talk about the development of a relationship between these two characters, but I think that will end up being done entirely through cutscene, and you won't be able to actually influence the relationship in gameplay. And I think the gameplay itself will be pretty straightforward.. in this case, Uncharted with zombies.

Now, if they really do end up doing something totally different, I'll be first in line to pick this one up. But right now, I don't have my hopes up that this will be anything special at all.

I've had 3 PS3's....always eventually sold them.......now that BD players are so cheap, there's no reason to won one.....

In the begining, i really loved resistance.....but, resistance 2 sucked.....it all went down hill from there....

Well, it's Naughty Dog. I love Uncharted, so I give them the benefit of the doubt. Besides, that's a great little trailer! (Though Juno star Ellen Page might have to sue.) BTW I have a PS3 and an Xbox 360. I use the PS3 constantly. Don't bother much with the Xbox. (Thought I'd mention that just to bring balance to the Force.

I don't even remember the last time I turned my Xbox on. I have Assassin's Creed: Revelations in my PS3 right now, begging to be played.

From what Ive read about the game it seems to be an "I am Legend" backdrop involving a girl and a guy trying to get across the US while avoiding humanoid mutants.
Supposedly a new strain of plant spore has infected mankind turning the mass majority of populace into flesh eating weirdos.

The only thing I really know about the game's main premise is that involves real world survival stuff like stealth, trying to find food, shelter, and weapons, transporation, gas, as they trek across the US.

Right now I'm not even remotely interested in this game mainly because the genre has been beaten like a dead horse. Saying it's like "I am Legend" is also NOT a good thing. What a boring movie that was.....wasted $7. :[

I with Bethesda would make the Fallout stuff look this good. I'm not big on the zombie survival type thing anymore either but the post apocalyptic genre has a lot left to offer.

I reckon this game looks awesome! If the trailer is anything to go by anyway. It shows survival, exploration, shooting, action, partnering, scavenging, and kick butt graphics. what more could you ask for? :)
