Years ago I bought a raiders idol cast in brass. Not the most accurate but it has the right look and feel to it. I know that if I let it go I'll never find another for a decent price. That and my windless studios arc reactor. I bought it for $150 and now I see them go for over a grand. Another thing I'd never get back.

My E-11 Blaster from Unique Canes and Replicas, it's made by AJ Standish, from a real deactivated sterling, authentic M-38 scope and pre-WWII Hengstler counter. I remember he ran out of scopes so I had to purchase one on eBay and send it to him for the build. It cost me about $750 - 15 years ago, I couldn't put a price on it today, so I guess you could say it's priceless.
I have so many special pieces, another one would be My DStines Alpha with a stop watch, built by Tripper on the TPZ. He aged it to look how the alpha might appear today if the moire were fully intact. Or my Coyle built, World-con Blade runner blaster, 1 of 50

I’ll never sell my 1917 Webley No1 Mk1 Flare gun. Not only are the things over twice the value now than they were when I originally first got mine (paid top dollar at $1500 back then too, and getting it was easily the sketchiest deal Ive ever made with that kinda money in my life given all the seller had were crappy physical photos mailed to me to go off of and the old guy didn’t use email or electronic payments. Just postal MO and a phone number) but to top it all off, and by a total freak accident of pure luck, I discovered years later that my Webley actually has different variant features on it that most Webleys seem to lack, such as the 3 additional chamfers on the D-bracket lug that are actually also visible on both ESB and ROTJ hero blaster Webley. And Ive only ever seen maybe 3 or so other Webleys since then with these correct features in what feels like sea of others that are already rare as hell to find these days (Im sure you MPP flash guys can relate), and I know I’ll never be able to get another in either as good a condition or with these features on it again to boot, especially where they’re now selling upwards of 4.5-5k even for incorrect variant ones. Actually found one of the original photos the seller mailed me so many years ago while cleaning out the attic this past spring.
Only known part I still need for my found parts build is a vintage MPP tube with the large “B” port (currently using a Parks)

Just a quick question for you guys. Are there any Playmates or Art Asylum Star Trek toys that would be worth keeping if they're brand new in the box? I've got a Playmates Dr. McCoy Medical Kit brand new and some old Art Asylum phasers from 2002. I'm just wondering if I should hang on to a few of them or let them go.

You can by a brand new playmates DR McCoy med kit in the box for $30 on ebay
Art Assylum phasers too, about $30
I'd say they are worth more than that to hang on to.

It's an overused term however, I've learned "never say never" is more than true. Tomorrow is always going to be a mystery. In answer to the question- I hope I don't have to sell or part with any. I don't buy or build just to do it. I enjoy what I'm making or buying, so I'm pretty much doing it for keeps. I'll let my kids decide what to do with all this crap when I'm gone
