I'll never sell my Screen Used John McClane wallet from Die Hard. When i say never, If i was offered a silly amount of money, I would consider it. But it would have to be silly. Very silly.

I'm part of the "never say never" crowd, but the last item I'd part with would probably be the first lightsaber hilt I built...not that anyone but me would want it anyway. 
But, as has already been stated, there's more of a personal connection to an item when you built it yourself.

mine would be my cking vader and my movie cast green goblin helmet.
Well...I´m constantly upgrading my collections so there´s a natural permanent fluctuation going on.
BUT unless I own/ bought doubles or don´t like something anymore, I wouldn´t sell any of my props. Many of my blasters and other stuff generate from one-time-only occasions and would be very hard if not impossible to get now.
In addition to that I´m a person who doesn´t buy more than I can afford and won´t get into -deep- depts for a prop. This way I´m also not forced to sell anything just to pay some bills.
p.s: I couldn´t even decide what prop would be a keeper, so above argueing is much easier for me :lol

Well i sold the thing i'd never sell to get something else, my full size wearable 3po suit along with my ANH stormtrooper armor/helmet.
Swore i'd never do it, but a couple items i had been looking for the past 10 years finally came to my attention and i jumped on it. But i will have another 3po and ANH TK soon enough. It wasn't easy lettin those go, and if it wasn't for those 2 found items i had been searchin for for so long they would still be here with me. I think the reason i finally decided to go ahead and do it was well...if i didn't act on it right then i would've been able to get them later. And the 3po and ANH TK suits are much easier to secure.
BUT if i had the chance at gettin a film used 3po suit(ha :lol HA!) i'd be sellin things left and right! Or even casts off the actual fim suit and helmet would do just fine too. But they'd have to be nice casts inside and out.

i have a gf trooper still to be assembled and mounted, i have to paint it all one colour first

Hey Zorg,
The helmet is JB's V2 ESB. Very sharp and looks nearly identical to the screen used ESB to me. It's one of the proudest items I own.
Wow, it must be cool to have an R2 nearly done. Is it remote controllable?

well when i say nearly done i mean ive gathered most of the parts, it is all aluminium apart from the feet which are f/g. and any of the parts that are painted they will be resin e.g. booster covers. i dont see the point in getting these type of parts in alu as you lose its gloy under paint.
it wont be r/c as 99.9% of its life will be stationary so again whats the point.
i hope to get it as "screen used" looking as possible. i think i have the skills to pull it off.
im on crutches for the next few months so i am limited to what i can do.
i dont think i would sell my jb, as you say they are pretty sharp.
