Hi There! (First post, so go easy on me 
)
A preamble:
I'm an engineering student at McMaster University in Canada. My faculty has two "superhero mascots" loosely based off of Superman and Wonder Woman / Supergirl. They do their job very well, but it still left me wondering why would we not have a mascot based off Iron Man. I mean, he's an engineer, his armour is a constant reminder of his (or our) badass engineering prowess, it's red and yellow, our faculty's colours, AND he has an alcohol dependency! He's Perfect!
So, I taking it upon myself to try and create something; an Iron man inspired armour that could be one day be added to our mascot roster.
Seeing how this is the "Replica Prop Forum", which implies that anything on here is from a movie or TV show, I was wondering if showcasing and getting feedback on my upcoming work would be frowned upon. The eventual design will be custom and 100% my own creation, and therefore not an established prop/costume from any previous work.
If this isn't the right forum for such things, could anyone please recommend the right communities? I already know about the 405th, but the near constant ddos attacks and downed forums makes it impossible to post there.
