Prop game

Ok, this is just something i'm going to try, see how it works out.
I'll give you a list of supplies, and you give me an idea for a prop, I'll build the best one

What I have:
Water Gems
A square tin, I also have about one dozen 1 inch round window tins.
Some scrap pieces of black foam craft sheets, and foam poster board.
A toy shovel similar to the one in this photo

and a whole ton of scrap wires and electronics


May the best idea win, let me know if I shouldadd soem more random supplies

I also have small push button projectors where the images can be removed

The water gems remind me of the Samael nest clusters from Hellboy. I say do something along those lines.

not sure on the size of the gems but they remind me of the missiles out of The Rock, I think it was VX Gas or something.
Probably need a bit of machine work for the missile frame though

Some sorta sci fi control panel...
Use the shovel handle as a rocker switch or something

You could make some sort of sci-fi IED.

Some sort of futuristic portable power source. The box + circuit boards can be the power regulator, the wires would be used for power delivery, the shovel would be the carrying handle and the gems are the fuel. The foam boards could be used for building the casing.

A jar/bottle/acrylic tube would be a good way of displaying the gems. If you can get some sort of industrial looking power coupling that would be really interesting.

If you use the bucket... how about a robot head? You could use the "gems" as eyes for 360 degree vision - great for a child's costume?
