Suggestion Profile picture

I don't know what this would monetarily mean for the RPF to implement this, but it would be nice if for your profile pic you could upload any ol' .jpg or .png and resize/crop on the site, kind of like how you would upload a profile pic on facebook, and then you choose what part of your picture is shown in a square thumbnail.

No arguments there. I am not sure if there is anything that could be bolted on to vBulletin that could do that or not. If you have a pic you want resized or cropped, I'd be happy to do it for you. I know that is not the same as what you are looking for, but just wanted to throw it out there.

I have tried to upload various profile pics they all show as failed when I try and save. I even tried some really small jpg.s Any help would be appreciated.
