I drew them first , then transferred the info.
I didn't want to do a jig or anything and I do have a mill sitting there so I figured , use it!
Although it seems the ilm legs were done by hand.
Those went pretty quick , I just haven't had the time to do the others or finish these.
With the larger legs and middle joints I am machining the lock in discs as per robs drawings and the larger leg , still waiting on the acrylic I purchased in December from eBay.
Maybe late this year will finish! Lol

Mate once you get one leg operating fully, it just spurs you on. You'll soon find it easy, and have some fun. My next set will use laser cut discs i reckon for speed, much time wasted hand making each individual joint, can't say ill ever build another droid, but i will build another set of unpainted display legs, once i get a fair few other projects off the bench!

What milling machine are you using? Do you like it pretty well?

Stephen , it's a sieg super x3.
I think you guys over there get the same one but labeled different , from Grizzly I am pretty sure .
Love it, small parts are great, especially if you are restricted with space.
They also make the x3 which doesn't tilt the head, this one does.

Looking Good Mars, always males me want to make the next set when i see them in progress, can't wait to see them come together ...there just isn't enough PD legs in the world especially ones that move.....hurry up so you can play with em...much more fun than building them

Spot on mate, always want to start my next set when i see that naked ABS.......mate we need to bang heads, get the discs laser cut, and get on with it soon, fancy a two man run of leg discs? Think ill get the B done and kick another set off.

Sure you will, its a lot more accessible to find here in the UK Rob. But if your offering a run I'm all ears!
