Prison Gamora - Budget Build

Wanted to do Prison Gamora, on a tight budget for this one but I do want to do a movie accurate version too. With the blu-ray out next week I'll be able to start researching fabrics and hopefully find the trainers!

I've made this for about £60. It's given me a good base for a pattern though for when I upgrade. I'm still practising with the body paint and need to find a good picture of her facial markings.

Suit is made from a set of scrubs, the darker yellow trim was an old t-shirt I had. Half cap wig and ben nye make-up. The trainers were closet I could find!

What paint is it? The snazaroo stuff is tough to get on the skin, I used a little water but acetone will work better I think.



This took about 90 mins and we ended up adding a lighter green as a cheat for "texture"

Back on track now the blu-ray is out and I think I've found a good match for the vest fabrics. Using this pic-


I think the fabric is mock eyelet sports stretch fabric. I've found some yellow on ebay but it's too bright-


So my plan is to buy some cream/ivory or white and have a go and dying it with some iDye Poly-

I'm finally back on this and ordered the fabrics for the top, here's a comparison pic to show the weave of the fabrics-



I've ordered yellow and amber, I'm trying to find a good photo of the back of the prison tops as I know there's a square on the top by the back of the neck, will update with more pics as I go along
