Prince of Persia armor W.I.P

This is definitely the movie version. I've seen a Warrior Within and a Sands of Time (game) costume before and both were impressive as well.

it's really awesome man, you have to have a pretty steady hand to do that kind of stuff!

By the way, will you be selling casts of the medallion and other "metal" parts of the armor? I would definitely be interested.

Here is a small update, haven't done much on this but did add a few details. I really need to finish and mold this thing befor it falls apart:lol

Freakin' Epic again Chiro, I wish I had part of your talent, someone told me I should do this as my costume for a convention, and I took a look at it, knew I couldn't make it, and felt a little empty inside. But seeing you making it with such precision makes me really happy. Keep up your awe-inspiring work.

Thanks guys, I figured there was zero interest in this. NEO that response made my day ! lol.

I am doing this mostly at night when I am hm, so I haven't made huge progress on it. If there is still interest I can finish it, but not sure how quick. I will update this thread when I have more to show.

I'm still planning on making my own out of leather, but I'm definitely interested in casts of the metal pieces. Snakes, buckles, medallion, etc.

i'm working on the armour as well but i couldn't find the same textured pleather so i had to try and tool some designs into it myself. the material in question is lino used for flooring. it's light, it's easy to cut and easy to carve designs into and very easy to rivet together. i'll try post pictures soon. i'm going to have to go find hinges for the shoulders and costume jewellery for the other parts.
i've also bought 2 awesome swords and need to make the scabbards to hold them.

nothing new sorry, this ones at the bottom of the pile for now. It doesn't appear to be very popular so it will have to wait until i have nothing else to do, and at this point it may only be the chest armor not the full costume as I planned.

WOW This is FANTASTIC!!!! AMazing work, it's like when I see the original and dream of making one, this is how I always imagine it looking! Haha I too have sought out that fabric, but haven't yet delved into the details of creating this costume. I am planning on being Dastan for H-ween and was really hoping to have a better version of the armor than the cheezy Halloween store version. So what is the status as of today, and what are your plans to market the molds or whatnot to us? Interest aplenty from my end!
